Kamal Haasan injured himself today morning when he slipped while climbing down the stairs at his office in Chennai. He was rushed to Apollo Hospitals, where he is getting treated. The doctors have advised him a rest of 3 weeks.

The Universal Star has been shooting for Sabhash Naidu. The shoot of his Kamal-Ramya Krishnan-Shruti Haasan starrer will have to be put on hold for at least 3-4 weeks. A schedule will be planned later on.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the shoot of this film was affected because of the illness of an important/technician. Director Rajeev Kumar was admitted to hospital due to deterioration of his health condition weeks ago. But the shoot was resumed because Kamal rose to the occasion and took up the mantle so as to avoid any delays.

Kamal is supposed to take part in the audio release function of his good friend director K.S.Ravikumar's 'Mudinja Ivana Pudi' to be held on July 20. He also has to start the second schedule of shoot for 'Sabash Naidu' at USA.
