Thala and Thalapathy attending Kamal Haasan 60 today?

Kamal Haasan's 60th year in the movie industry is being celebrated in a grand event at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai this evening (November 17th). Isaigniani Ilayaraja will be live in concert at the show while Superstar Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Mani Ratnam and Prabhu among other celebrities are expected to attend.
The million-dollar question is whether the two box office kings Thala Ajith and Thalapathy Vijay will be attending the felicitation of their senior industry colleague. According to sources close to the 'Thalapathy 64' team, since the shooting is going on in full swing in Delhi and important scenes are filmed even today, Vijay will not be able fly to Chennai today. Similarly, it is also said that Thala Ajith who does not attend any public function or event including those related to his own films will not be making an exception for Kamal Haasan as well. Fans who were expecting Thala Thalapathy at the Kamal 60 event have to bear with the disappointment.
