Kamal gifts a software to Shruti

On her birthday recently, Shruti Haasan received a pleasant surprise from her legendary father Kamal Haasan, in the form of a gift.

The 'Ulaga Nayagan' presented his multi-talented daughter a script-writing software, since he feels that she could write well.

Says Shruti, "Appa thinks I am a talented writer and he seriously wants me to write for a movie. So he presented me the software to hone my writing skills. Shruti is already an actress, musician and singer, it must be noted.
