Actor Kamal Haasan's birthday falls on 7th November.

Each year he does something novel and useful for the public.

This year, to commemorate the occasion, he would be holding a mega oratorical competition for college students all over the State this week.

The winners would be given a cash award of Rs 10000, by the actor himself on his birthday.

Kamal Haasan as part of his charitable trust named after his mother - Rajalakshmi Memorial Trust, would be holding the contest for all college students on the topic, 'Tamil, Ini...' meaning the fate of Tamil language in the coming years.

Kamal sure has put the money where his heart is.
