Just a few months back, Kamal Haasan officially began his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam. The announcement of Kamal’s party created a sensation in TN politics. Moreover, he also stated that he’d be no longer working in cinema to fully engage in politics.

Word is that both his daughters Shruti Haasan and Akshara Haasan were not happy with Kamal’s decision to quit cinema altogether. Especially so, Shruti was more affected by his decision. Word is that Kamal is still placating his two daughter over this issue.

It is worth noting here that Shruti Haasan is a part of ‘Sabaash Naidu’ which is being bankrolled by Kamal Haasan’s production banner. And also that Akshara Haasan is essaying a lead role in one of the films which Kamal is producing and has Vikram as its male lead.
