A lot is cooking about Kamal Haasan these days. After sources suggested that he is busy shooting 'Viswaroopam' and would also start 'Nanbargalum 40 Thirudargalum', the latest about the Ulaga Nayagan is that he would soon act in a Malayalam movie.

In what is said to be one of the biggest projects of Mollywood, Kamal would play the lead role of legendary emperor Tipu Sultan in 'Tippuvum Unniaarchayum', a movie produced by Gokulam Gopalan, who made Malayalam film industry proud with 'Pazhassi Raja'.

The shooting of the movie scripted by John Paul and directed by Vayalar Madhavan Kutty, is expected to begin by March 2012 and the film is aimed for a Deepavali release next year. "It will be shot on a lavish budget," sources say.

In the meantime, Kamal, who is directing 'Viswaroopam' besides playing the lead role, is simultaneously concentrating on the post production works for the film, to reduce the the making time. Viswaroopam will be completed at the earliest," sources say.
