Actors Kamal Haasan and Mohan Lal may work together very soon. Sources say that the two may feature in the remake of the Hindi film 'A Wednesday' that featured Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher.

Kamal is said to be in the process of finalizing the director for this remake. Moreover, the versatile actor is expected to start work on this remake even before he starts the project 'Thalaivan Irukindran', which was expected to be his next project.

A few weeks earlier, it was reported that Mammootty might feature in the remake of 'A Wednesday' along with Kamal Haasan. However, it is confirmed now that it would be Mohan Lal and not Mammootty.

The Hindi original, an action-packed film sans any action sequences was directed by Neeraj Pandey. The narration deals with a cop getting a phone call from an anonymous person about bombs being planted in different parts of the city. A thrilling screenplay and edge-of-the-seat narration were the highlights of the film that was based on many incidents from terror acts.
