The buzz yesterday was that the Judge may have agreed to lift the ban from screening the movie in Tamil Nadu because Kamal Hassan may have agreed to crop off a few selected scenes from his Vishwaroopam.

After the Press Meet held at his place today, Kamal himself clarified the issue.

He said that a jury of people watched the film and selected the parts to be trimmed to which he agreed. Specifically the scenes which refer to the Holy Book of Islam, The Quran. Kamal also added that more shocking news awaits the nation and that he needs all the support to withstand it and it's reactions.

He says he never meant harm to anyone and that his Muslim brothers know that even if others don't.
