Kamal Haasan is one person who is known to make his stand very clear and strong when it comes to societal issues. While the issue of casting couch in the film space has been creating disappointment and anger, here’s what Makkal Needhi Maiam’s leader had to say.

Just following choreographer Saroj Khan’s defending of the practice in the industry,Kamal has stated that no woman should talk in support of casting couch and doing so will be taken as ignoring the rights of women, including his own sister and daughter who are in the film industry as well.

Stating that every woman has the right to ‘not sit, lie down or kick that couch away’, Kamal strongly impressed the point that casting couch should be not be justified and he would consider it talking against his own sisters.

With Kamal Haasan’s strong presence in the film spcae, no doubt everyone would be hopeful of what definitive ideas he has towards a resolution in this issue.
