Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has reportedly bagged the role of his father, Hari Krishna, in the NT Rama Rao biopic that Teja is going to do with Balakrishna. So, the sons of late NTR and Hari Krishna are going to play their respective fathers in this biopic.

The length of Kalyan Ram's role will depend on how long the Chaitanya Ratham episodes will be narrated in the film. Hari Krishna as the driver of NTR's chariot was directly witness to the history that was in the making in the run-up to the 1983 elections - the polls that changed the fate of the Telugus.

This is not the first time that Teja is going to direct the young actor. 'Lakshmi Kalyanam' in 2007 featured him in the lead role.
