Grand Reception For Kalyan Ram In Chicago Gallery

Kalyan Ram, who is currently in Chicago with his family to attend TANA 'sabhalu', was in for a warm reception from members belonging to the Telugu NRI community there. He was there at Masala Restaurant to interact with fans at a Meet-n-Greet session.

Apparently, this is his first visit in a decade. Getting nostalgic, the Nandamuri actor talked about his stint with Chicago back during his student days. He urged the Telugu-speaking diaspora to warm up to the country as its second home where they are growing in status as well as professionally.

Although it was a weekday, good numbers turned out for the event. Many, including respected representatives of the Telugu-speaking community, recalled their fond association with the Nandamuris over the decades.

Legendary NT Rama Rao's 'jayanthi' was celebrated by the attendees by way of cutting a large cake.

Singers Deppthi and Sandeep regaled the audiences with their performance.
