Kalyan Krishna to direct Akhil?

Is the director of Soggade Chinni Nayana out to direct Akhil's second film? Yes, if the grapevine has to be believed.

Kalyan Krishna Kurasala has been getting all-round applause for his imaginative prowess. While launching the audio of SCN, Nagarjuna made it a point to talk about Kalyan's influence on him. "It is he who made me deliver all those lines. I just followed his instructions," he said.

No surprise then that Nag is rumouredly mooting Kalyan's name as the director of his son's next.

Nag has been looking for an apt story for Akhil, not a formulaic one that conforms to the trend. If Kalyan, who could write a bound script for SCN in 15 days, can come up with a 'hatke' story, then he might just be Akhil's next creator!
