Kalpathi AGS Group donate a huge sum for Chennai flood relief

Amid a flurry of actors, directors and music composers donating for money for the state Government's measures towards the relief and rescue of rain affected Chennai a Tamil film production house has joined in with a huge donation.

The Kalpathi AGS Group has donated Rs.50 Lakhs towards the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund to support the victims of Chennai rains.

It is worth recalling that AGS Cinemas, which is part of the Kalpathi group had bankrolled the film 'Thani Oruvan' which emerged as the phenomenally successful and universally praised film of the year.
