Get ready for an exhilarating clash as Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas step into the roles of adversaries in the highly anticipated film, Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. This ambitious project has been generating immense buzz as one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema this year. The movie promises intense face-off moments between Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, who portray fierce rivals in the captivating promotional material.

In a recent and enjoyable conversation called The Kalki Chronicles, shared on the Vijayanthi Network's YouTube channel, Amitabh Bachchan took a moment to address Prabhas fans and express his genuine apologies in a light-hearted manner.

With his unique sense of humor, Amitabh playfully urged the fans of Prabhas not to "massacre" him after watching the film. Recounting a humorous incident, he shared, "When Nagi (Nag Ashwin) approached me for the project, he showed me a picture of how my character would look and what Prabhas would look like. And there I was, this towering figure pushing aside 'The Prabhas.' So, all the fans of Prabhas, please forgive me. Haath jod ke maafi maang rahe hain. Don't massacre me after you see what I do in the film." Prabhas, with a warm smile, graciously responded, "Sir, they are all your fans."

Now, let's delve into the extraordinary world of Kalki 2898 AD. Drawing inspiration from the sacred Sanskrit texts, namely the Kalki Puran by sage Agastya and the Mahabharata by Ved Vyas, this film takes viewers on a thrilling journey. Amitabh Bachchan portrays the immortal warrior Ashwatthama in this directorial masterpiece by Nag Ashwin. His character is tasked with defending Deepika Padukone's character, SUM-80, from the relentless bounty hunter, Bhairava, played by Prabhas, in this dystopian action-thriller.

The film features an ensemble cast, including the legendary Kamal Haasan, the talented Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, Shobhana, Rajendra Prasad, and Malvika Nair, who all bring crucial characters to life. Keerthy Suresh lends her voice as the companion AI droid/vehicle, BU-JZ-1 alias Bujji, to Bhairava. Kalki 2898 AD is produced by C Aswini Dutt under the prestigious banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Initially made in Hindi and Telugu, this bilingual film will be dubbed in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam to cater to a wider audience. Prepare yourself for a cinematic experience like no other as Kalki 2898 AD unfolds its gripping narrative.
