Official! Simbu's heroine in 'Maanadu' confirmed

We had brought the buzz to you regarding the heroine of Simbu's upcoming movie 'Maanadu' directed by Venkat Prabhu a couple of weeks earlier.  Read: STR's Maanadu gets a new heroine!

Producer Suresh Kamachi has confirmed the news that Kalyani Priyadarshan has signed on to play Simbu's pair in 'Maanadu'.  There were rumours that the project is shelved but Suresh Kamachi rubbished it and stated that the shooting will happen in May and now this is a major step in that direction.

Kalyani Priyadarshan is making her debut opposite Sivakarthikeyan in 'Hero' directed by P.S. Mithran which is on floors right now.
