The wait for Kalavar King is finally over. The film is expected to set for a release on Feb 25. In the film, Nikhil plays a wisecrack, whose forte is making clever, if cunning, talk. The film was earlier slated for a Sankranthi release, but has been postponed.

Producers Chandrasekhara Rao and Dammulapati Srinivasa Rao said, "Kalavar King is the apt title going by the hero's characterisation. The title is already on the lips of the audience even prior to release."

The film is set in the backdrop of city and the hero is someone who has no iota of thought for studies or family. All he knows is tricking people. Kalavar King shows what happens when such a youth falls in love. The film will also have loads of entertaining scenes between Nikhil and Ajay, who plays a villain. Anitha of Nuvvu Nenu fame will be seen in a special song.

Nikhil is playing a naughty role and comedians like Ali, Venumadhav, Dharmavarapu, Raghubabu will be seen. Kashi Vishwanath, seen playing father's role in some films is also playing a character in the film.
