Actor Thirumurugan who made his entry in Kollywood with the critically acclaimed super hit 'Kalavani' has entered wedlock with Mohanapriya, his relative, The wedding ceremony took place in the Pappanadu Village near Tanjore on Monday (September 4, 2017). The wedding was conducted with Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja as the chief guest.

Actor Vimal and director Sarkuanam who worked with Thirumurugan in 'Kalavani' took part in the wedding celebration.

Thirumurugan has acted in films like 'Aravaan', 'Naalu Policeum Nalla Irundha Oorum', 'Eetti', '490', 'Pencil' and 'Kattappava Kanom' among others. His upcoming releases inclue 'Onaan', 'Adangathey' and 'Torchlight'. The Bride Mohanapriya is working in the Government Revenue Department.
