The much-awaited periodical drama of the year - ‘Kalank’ has aroused our curiosity ever since the announcement of the project. And adding more flavor to it were the character posters of the team - #MenOfKalank – Varun Dhawan as Zafar, Aditya Roy Kapur as Dev Chaudhry and Sanjay Dutt as Balraj Chaudhry. On International Women’s Day, the #WomenOfKalank – Alia Bhatt as Roop, Sonakshi Sinha as Satya and Madhuri Dixit as Bahaar Begum were revealed.

And now, according to a source, the film, which was supposed to release on the 19th of April have preponed the release date for the 17th of April. The film will be getting a five day extended opening weekend. Even a week before its release, no major films will be hitting the screens. Producer, Karan Johar also took to his social media and announced that the first teaser of the film will be out on the 12th of March.

Directed by Abhishek Varman, ‘Kalank’ will be set in the 1940s backdrop.
