Actor N.L.Shrinivasan aka Shrini elevates as a lead actor with `Kalam' a super-natural thriller directed by debutant Robert S.Raj. Shrini has acted in notable supporting roles in many Tamil films including `Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu', `Madarasapattanam', `Thandavam', `Thalaiva' and `Paayum Puli' among others.

Shrini has played a Aghori kind of character in the film. The film also stars Amzath and Lakshmi Priya Chandramouli in other lead roles. Madhusdhan Rao, Nazzar, Pooja and many other prominent artists have acted in supporting characters.

Subish Chandran has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film. Mukesh.G has handled the cinematography. Prakash Nikki of `Inime Ippadithan' fame has done the musical score. Editing is by Prabhakar, Art Direction is by Senthil Raghavan and Stunt choreography has been accomplished by Sakthi Saravanan.

`Kalam' has been produced by P.K.Chandran under his Arul Movies banner. The film will hit the screens on April 29. Madan of Escape Artist Motion Pictures is releasing the film.
