Sundar C has managed to deliver a hit in his 25th directorial venture, we must say. For his ‘Kalakalappu’ that released on Friday (May 11) has reportedly grossed Rs 4.5 crore in more than 250 screens all over the state!

‘Kalakalappu’ by UTV Motion Pictures and Avni Cinemax has Vimal, Shiva, Oviya, Anjali and Santhanam in the lead roles with music by Vijay Ebenezer. The film has opened to positive reviews from critics and audience from all centres thanks to a typical Sundar C script that’s loaded with comedy.

The movie is about two brothers played by Vimal and Shiva, a cafe they run and the problems they run in to and is laced with two romantic plots.

The makers have adopted the right script that has managed to strike a chord among family audiences this summer. Sundar C is currently working on ‘Madha Gaja Raja’ with Vishal that sees the actor in three roles.
