The protagonist is a dream chaser and not a fulfiller of it. That is Harish Raj in his debut direction, production and also a full length hero for the first time in his career of over 10 years in films. The gripping elements in the first half of the film was felt while the second half has some interesting elements and finally landing the hero in the pathetic stage. In the acting, songs, cinematography the selection is carefully made by Harish Raj. He is another Ramesh Aravind in the making!
Hari grown up in life with lot of affection from grand mother and mother has a strict father. Hari's father wants him to take up a job for his living but Hari is interested in becoming an actor. He struggles and peddles in the heart of film activities and loses huge money too. Finally he gets the job of clap boy and from a peculiar incident a clash between a hero and director on the sets it is Hari who is benefited with it. He gets the hero role in `Kalaakar' but the hero in anger left the film in the middle uses his power to stall this film. Hari's film `Kalaakar' is bailed out from financial crisis by a stranger. Hari gets blessings from everyone and the heroine of his debut film Suman is ready to express her love to Hari after the premier is shocked to know that Hari is in love with Priyanka (Radhika Gandhi). Suman makes the way clear for Hari. But all these developments are dream to Hari.
Harish Raj already a popular actor known for his measured performance and good dialogue delivery is very cool in his own direction. As a Mallu girl in the film he is so apt. He has danced well too in this film. Suman is seductive in her appearance while Radhika Gandhi has miles to go. Avinash is apt as protagonist father. There is another Avinash in this film the grandson of Hasya Chakravarthy Narasimharaju. He comes in a scene and conquers for his looks and height.
Giridhar Diwan in his debut has passed three lovely tunes Banga Bang Bangaloru,Manase Yava Ragadalli, Aaya Aaya superstar are up to date in lyrics and capturing. Ramachandra has done a brilliant job in his camera.
This is worth a watch once!
