The Tamil Nadu Producers Council elections has as much drama as the Nadigar Sangam displayed last year. Amongst the five factions that are contesting the elections yesterday the Vishal headed group had a press meet in which they attacked the present office bearers.

The present council Chief Kalaipuli S Thanu conducted a siege demonstration in the Nadigar Sangam premises to show his displeasure on Vishal and his faction contesting the elections. Speaking to pressmen Thanu alleged that Vishal has political aspirations and that is why he is into philanthropic activities. He insisted that Nassar should intervene and take action against Vishal and he also alleged that 120 distributors have been affected due to Vishal films. He finished off by saying that the Kaththi Sandai` hero is unfit for the post of Producer Council General Secretary.
