WOW! S.S Rajamouli was approached to direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay

Baahubali 2` is gearing up to make a worldwide splash on the 28th of April and the entire team of S.S. Rajamouli, Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj, Nassar and others graced the Tamil audio launch function on the 9th of this month.

Kalaipuli S Thanu speaking on the occasion shared an interesting information that he approached director S.S. Rajamouli to direct a film starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay way back in 2004. The project however did not materialize as the maverick director of Magadeera` and Naan E` was held up in previous commitments. Wouldn`t it be a dream if Rajamouli and Vijay come together and make a film now?
