As more and more people are visiting the Kalaigniar Karunanidhi samadhi at Marina beach an unexpected visitor was none other than actress Trisha who paid a floral tribute to the departed leader.  Trisha had stated on his death "Another era.Another end.Tamizh cinema will truly miss you".

Later Trisha had shared "To one of our greatest leaders who ever lived I will never forget your warmth and kindness RIP Kalaigniar Karunanidhi."

On the work front Trisha's '96' costarring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by cinematographer Premkumar is slated for release at the end of August followed by the women centric films '1818' and 'Gharjanai'.
