The DMK patriarch Kalaignar M.Karunanidhi's health is in critical condition since last Tuesday. Since then there has been a lot of rumours regarding his health condition. Politicians cutting across party lines and also celebrities from other industries keep visiting his home or the hospital to inquire about his well being though none of them could meet him. Thousands of cadres are waiting in front of his home. Crores of Tamils across the world are praying for his speedy recovery. At present the senior most leader of the state is admitted in Kaveri hospitals and he is expected to be their at least for till tomorrow.

However the latest statement from Kaveri hospital assures that the nonagenarian leader's health condition "remains stable". It further states that he is "continuously being monitored by a panel of expert doctors at the Intensive care unit/"
