The remembrance ceremony of Kalabhavan Mani was held at Chalakuddy. The function was attended by co-actors of Mani and friends and family. Members from the film fraternity was present in full force to share their experiences about the actor.

Mammootty talked at length about what Mani meant to him and time spent with him over the years. Mohanlal also talked glowingly about the actor and expressed his deepest condolences on the actor's demise. Vikram talked about Mani's Tamil connection. All present were one in their grief at Mani's early demise.
