Kalabhavan Mani will play the lead in Sarath Chandran Wayanad's next film titled Karuthamuthu.
Mani will play the character of Muthu, who makes a living by removing the defaced and ruined corpses. Rahman also plays a prominent character in the film which also has Kavya Madhavan in the female lead.
Sarath Chandran Wayand's last film Annorikkal also had Kavya Madhavan in the female lead which fetched a lot of accolades for the actress.
The music department of the new film will be handled by Kaithapram and Rahulraj. The film expected to make a release by the next vishu, will be produced by Sasikumar in the banner of S.K. entertainments.
