'Kalabereke' : on social evil in society

Kalabereke' – meaning adulteration happening is a film that concentrate on consuming alcohol and how it affects the people in society. This is the film standing in the cans for a long time. Anirudh, son in law of Dr Vishnuvardhana is the main stay of the film.
The film has Variety in Life as caption is focused with 30 characters in the film. All the nature of characters for the film picked from Madhu Diwakar research who is director of the film. He has gone to various de-addiction camps, NIMHANS, bars, pubs etc.
Some of the pertinent questions are asked by habitual drinkers of alcohol. This is a direct hit back on the government that permits selling and preparation of alcohol says Madhu Divakar. There is romance and some interesting situations for Anirudh who returns to acting after four years.
Debut director and investor Madhu Diwakar worked with Guruprasad in eddelu Manjunatha' and Directors Special'. Five songs are scored by Keerthi Jain and five songs choreography is done by Sada.
It is in Cine Café banner film. Sridhar produces the film. Anirudh, Sanjana Prakash, Jai Jagadish, Shobaraj, Bank Janardhan, Nagaraja Murthy, Sri Maya, Sangamesh, Manamohan Rai and others are in the cast.
