'Kalabandhu' T Subbarami Reddy gave away the Yash Chopra National Memorial Award to Sharukh Khan, in a function held in Mumbai, on Sunday. The event was graced by the Governor of Maharashtra, besides Bollywood film personalities like Rekha, Sathrughan Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Jayaprada, Padmini Kolhapure. TSR, the founder of Yash Chopra National Memorial Award, gave a standing ovation to SRK.
The dignitaries lauded Sharukh Khan for his remarkable career. They all spoke about magnificent film career of Sharukh Khan. They highlighted how he is well known all over the world. In his 25 years film career, SRK made a mark as a popular film star of Hindi film industry.
TSR announced that he will organize the TSR-TV9 National Film Awards Function on April 8, in Visakhapatnam. On the occasion, he will give away the Millennium Star of Award to the actor. The speakers complemented Subbarami Reddy`s achievements as political leader, film producer, industrialist and the multi-faceted personality.
Four stalwarts like Latha Mangeshkar, Amitab Bhachchan, Rekha and Sharukh Khan have received the Award in the consecutive years.
