Mollywood star Tovino Thomas has wrapped the shoot of his upcoming movie 'Kala' helmed by ‘Adventures of Omanakuttan’ of Rohit VS. Taking to his social media handle, Tovino announced the same along with an intense picture from the movie.

"And 'Kala' has packed up! Years ago with cinema in my dreams, I used to be in the company of this same team of Kala, discussing and making short films. Now, we have made cinema, and with the purest of passions. Kala was hard. Real hard. But this mutual love we had for cinema made it all possible. And I'm sure this team's passion will make Kala all the more wholesome as it reaches you. Let's hope that happens soon," wrote Tovino.

Touted to be a thriller, the movie is said about on a ‘man vs wild’ topic. It may be remembered that the movie hit the headlines after Tovino suffered internal injuries while filming for one of an action scene. The shoot halted midway and the team resumed the shoot earlier this month.

The movie has Tovino playing the character named Shaji along with Ayal Njanalla actress Divya Pillai essaying the role of his wife, Vidya.
