Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (English: The Unemployed Graduate 2), popularly referred to as VIP 2, is an upcoming Tamil action-comedy-drama film directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth. A sequel to the 2014 Tamil film Velaiilla Pattadhari, the film has Dhanush, Amala Paul, Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan and Samuthirakani returning from the first film, other cast including Kajol. Dhanush, besides acting, is also co-producing the film and has written the story and dialogues for the film. The film, which is also co-produced by S. Thanu, has music composed by Sean Roldan and will release on July 28, 2017. The film will be dubbed in Telugu as VIP 2 and in Hindi as VIP 2: Lalkar.

Minsara Kanavu (Electrifying Dreams) is a 1997 Tamil musical romantic comedy film co written and directed by Rajiv Menon. The film features Arvind Swamy, Prabhu Deva and Kajol in the lead roles, with Girish Karnad, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, V. K. Ramasamy and Nassar in other pivotal roles. The soundtrack and background score for the film was composed by A. R. Rahman, while the cinematography was handled by Venu and Ravi K. Chandran. The film was shot in Lawrence School, Lovedale Ooty, St. Andrews Church and Apollo Hospitals in Chennai. The film garnered four National Film Awards, three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and a Filmfare Award South. A dubbed Hindi version was released as Sapnay.
