A video circulating on major social media platforms purportedly showing Kajol changing outfits was revealed to be a deepfake. This incident followed the distressing deepfake episode involving Rashmika Mandanna, underscoring the pressing need for stringent measures.

According to the fact-checking platform BOOM, the original video featured a social media influencer, and Kajol's face had been seamlessly morphed into the footage. Although the brief visibility of the original woman's face was noted, the true creator of the video remains undisclosed. The morphed deepfake, part of the "Get Ready With Me" trend on TikTok, emphasizes the potential harm caused by such manipulative content.

Deepfakes, encompassing fabricated images, videos, and audio, are increasingly harnessed for malicious purposes such as creating false narratives and spreading misinformation. This trend poses a substantial challenge to society at large.
