Former Chief minister of Tamil Nadu and yesteryear actress Jayalalitha has become the most favorite subject for filmmakers of Kollywood, and there are multiple movies and a web series in the making on the life of the popular leader, with some popular makers behind these projects.

Director AL Vijay's version Thalaivi will have Kangana Ranaut playing Jayalalitha, while debutant Priyadarshini's version titled as The Iron Lady will have Nithya Menen as Jayalalitha and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Sasikala, and Gautham Vasudev Menon's web series has been titled as Queen, with Ramya Krishnan playing Jayalalitha. Besides, Lingusamy is reportedly making a movie as well, and Ram Gopal Varma recently announced his next - Sasikala.

Now, here's the announcement on yet another biopic on Jayalalitha. Tamil Nadu Telugu Yuvasakthi leader Jagadeeswara Reddy has announced that he is making the biopic of Jayalalitha titled as Sasilalitha, and the shoot will begin soon. The producer has revealed that the team has approached Kajol to play Jayalalitha and Amala Paul to play Sasikala.
