'Queen' directed by Vikas Bahl with actress Kangana Ranaut playing the lead role was released in 2014 to widespread success and critical acclaim. The movie revolves around a conservative women who, after getting ditched just before her wedding by her fiance decides to embark on a mission to travel and explore.

Actress Kajal Aggarwal will essay the role of the protagonist in the Tamil remake of the National Award winning film. On the launch of the Tamil version titled 'Paris Paris', the film's director Ramesh Arvind expressed that Kajal would make the best fit for the role as she is the 'perfect combination of beauty, talent and enthusiasm'.

Kajal considers this project to be very special for her and opines that she will treat the film as an original, in her own way. With more and more women-centric films being released recently, Kajal's 'Queen' could be expected to create a greater impact as well.
