It has been more than a year since Kajal Aggarwal had a release in Tamil and now her fans have a good news. The multi-starrer 'Kavalai Vendam' which is also Kajal's first film with acclaimed actor Jiiva is expected to release very soon probably within a few weeks from now.

Kajal plays Divya who is a hardworking independent and successful working professional who is confused about things related to hear such as love. The film directed by Deekay and her character in it promise a refreshing youthful treat for Tamil movie buffs.

As we all know. the charming lass is also part of 'AK 57' the big ticket project in which she plays the female lead opposite Thala Ajith. There were reports suggesting that Kajal plays Ajith's wife in the film and she has confirmed the news.

Here is what the vivacious beauty had to say about her role in the film: "I play a young married bride. They (Ajith and Kajal) are quite a fun loving young couple. And its a great story to be associated with. Its a very fast paced thriller action film. The love story is extremely important and has primary focus in the film. I am happy to be a part of it."

The 'Thuppakki' actress admits that she can not stop praising Ajith when asked about her experience working with the star admired by the masses. "It's amazing working with Thala. I cant stop praising him. He is really fabulous. Truly lives up to everything that people talk about him. He is genuinely one of the nicest I've ever met. He is just so nice and charming. And the niceness stems from i think his brilliant upbringing."
