On one side Kamal Haasan is touring the state of Tamil Nadu building his political party Makkal Needhi Maiam while on the other side the set work for his magnum opus 'Indian 2' was kickstarted by production designer T. Muthuraj a few days ago. There is a strong buzz that Simbu and Dulquer Salman are in talks for important roles in the film though nothing has been officially confirmed.

The latest news on 'Indian 2' is that Kajal Agarwal has signed on to play one of the female leads. Earlier it was said that Nayanthara is also on board and it is still not clear whether Kajal has replaced her or both are co-starring. The film directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions has Anirudh as the music director and goes on floors this December.
