Singer Kailash Kher is an unlikely star, considering his short height and uncharacteristic looks. Yet, this giant singer who moved on from singing at railway stations to the cover page of international music magazine ‘Rave’, his artistic journey is unprecedented. Currently he is elated about his upcoming world concert with Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder.

Kailash is very excited about this collaboration with Eddie Vedder. The live concert will be a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan who had teamed up with Eddie Vedder for the soundtrack of ‘Dead Man Walking’. Kher had recently released his private album ‘Kailasa’ which also had the hit single ‘Main Deewani’ based on the love of Meera for Lord Krishna. Encouraged by the response to the first album, he is already planning the next. But what excites him the most is the work that he has done with A R Rahman for films like ‘Swades’ and ‘Mangal Pandey’. His sufi song ‘O Sikandar’ from Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Corporate’ is one of the better songs of this year.

IndiaGlitz wishes Kailash Kher best wishes for his forthcoming Tour with Eddie Vedder and all his other projects.
