The UTV Motion Pictures ode to friendship based on Chetan Bhagat’s best seller ‘3 Mistakes Of My Life’ helmed by Abhishek Kapoor has grown wonderfully and surpassed Karan Johar’s ‘Soty’ and ‘Rock On’ by registering a whooping 18.10 crore net for the weekend..

As said earlier Kai Po Che has already left Vicky Donor which did 1.5 crore and Paan Singh Tomar which also collected 1.5 crore on its opening day.. Riding on sheer content and impressive film making Kai Po Che opened with 65 % opening and picked up by positive word of mouth especially in multiplexes on Saturday it jumped to 6.25 cr- doubling its numbers in Bengal, Mysore, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi city

On Sunday it performed much better and reached 7.35 crores.. the total now stands at Friday 4.5 crore, +Saturday 6.25 crore,+ Sunday 7.35 crores. = 18.10 crores.
