'Kahaani', 'Paan Singh Tomar', TNLHG to gain from zero competition

It is rather surprising that there is no notable release planned for the week ahead. Agreed that 'Agent Vinod' is a biggie that would arrive next week and hence it makes practical sense for other biggies to avoid coming close to it. However one still expected a couple of medium budget films to step into the open slot as it would have been good enough space for them to earn some moolah. Seems not many really thought in that direction and they chose to clash with each other later in April (when there are 20 releases stuffed in already) instead of occupying a readily available slot.
All of this means that unheard of films like 'Say Yes To Love' and 'Zindagi Tere Naam' arrive this weekend. Former is a small affair featuring newcomers and arrives without any promotion whatsoever. Despite boasting of decent music, it just hasn't made any buzz whatsoever which means it would be a miracle if it survives through a week.
The other release of the week is Mithun Chakraborty-Ranjeeta starrer 'Zindagi Tere Naam' which is a dated film and is now arriving after being stuck in the cans for years. It would be a surprise if it manages to find an all-India release for itself.
All of this means that even in the week to come, three films that would take best advantage of zero competition are 'Kahaani', 'Paan Singh Tomar' and 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya'.
