Chiyaan Vikram was last seen on screens twice in 2018, with the gangster drama Sketch and the cop mass flick Saamy Square, both of which failed to work at the box office despite humongous hype. However, the actor is currently having an exciting lineup in his bag.

Chiyaan will be seen next in the action thriller Kadaram Kondaan, directed by Rajesh M Selva of Thoongavanam fame, and will co-star Akshara Haasan who was seen making her Tamil debut in Vivegam (2017), besides veteran Nasser's son Abi Hasan in a key role.

Kadaram Kondaan, which is bankrolled by Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan's Raajkamal Films International, had been extensively shot in Malaysia, and now, the team has wrapped a major schedule, and are left with a song shoot and a few patch works. Kadaram Kondaan,which is speculated to be the Tamil version of Don't Breathe, will have its teaser released on January 15 as a Pongal feast.
