Ilayaraja lodges complaint against Vijay Sethupathi's next film

Vijay Sethupathi as it is well known is acting in a record number of movies not only in Tamil but also in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi and Marathi as well. His next release is going to be 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' directed by 'Kaaka Muttai' Manikandan. Vijay Sethupathi recently joined the production of the film as well after being impressed by the content.
Isaigniani Ilayaraja was signed on to score the music for 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' and he also completed the background score. However Manikandan was not impressed with the legend's work and had initially asked him for a change which he is said to have refused.
Manikandan then went on replace the background score with Santhosh Narayanan and a new trailer was also released. Ilayaraja has lodged a complaint against 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' in the music director's union stating that the change was done without his knowledge or permission. His action has caused further trouble for the film which was planned to hit the screens in December this year.
'Kadaisi Vivasayi' has a 70 year old debutante Nallaandi as the lead actor while Yogi Babu plays an important character. Vijay Sethupathi makes a cameo appearance while Rachel Rebecca Phillip, Muneeswaran, Kalimuthu and Chaplin Sundar are also in the cast.
