KS controversy: Sundeep Kishan defends audiences tastes

'Kabir Singh', the Hindi remake of 'Arjun Reddy', has been panned by most of the film critics in Bollywood.  On social media, the film and the reactions to it have sparked a debate.  Many blockbusters, including the recent 'Temper' remake, were disliked by critics.  Many on social media have laughed at the Telugu audience for liking a "regressive" film like 'Arjun Reddy'.

Actor Sundeep Kishan, wading into the issue, says that judging the audience is unwarranted.  "Judging a film based on your personal taste is one thing. But judging the audience who liked it is a whole different level of narcissism. I loved 'Arjun Reddy' and stand by my opinion. And just in case. Here you go...guess we are not alone after all," he writes.

The 'Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene' actor presenting the box-office collections of big hits such as 'Simmba', 'Kick' (remake of 'Kick'), 'Baaghi-2' ('Kshanam'), 'Rowdy Rathore' ('Vikramarkudu'), 'Ready' ('Ready'), and 'Wanted' (Pokiri') to prove his point.
