It has taken all of 3 years for Kabir Duhan Singh to graduate into male lead. The 30-year-old actor debuted as a stylish, stubble-faced villain with Goipichand's slick actioner 'Jil' and has since been roped in by a number of big-ticket movies. Whether or not his films worked, he hasn't failed ever, choosy as he has been from the beginning. 'Kick2', 'Vedalam', 'Dictator', 'Supreme' and 'Sardar Gabbar Singh' are the huge films he has played negative roles in.
Having been seen in the films of the likes of Pawan Kalyan, Balakrishna, Ajith, Ravi Teja and Sai Dharam Tej, Kabir is set to debut as a lead actor in a horror film to be directed by a debutante. The film is reported to be heroine-oriented.
From being a hot favourite to play stylish villainous roles, Kabir has taken the next step forward. His comic timing has been one of his strong points.
