'Kabali' Radhika Apte joins 'The Mummy' Brendan Fraser

Radhika Apte is riding high after her performance in 'Phobia' being well received and what's more her next release is Kabali' directed by Pa Ranjith in which she is paired opposite none other than Superstar Rajinikanth.

Radhika has signed on to play the lead role in an English/Hindi bilingual titled 'The Field' which has Hollywood actor Brendan Fraser of 'The Mummy' fame as the lead. Fraser replaces Ray Liotta, who was earlier attached to the project. The film which begins shooting tomorrow (17th June) in India is directed by Rohit Karn Batra and has Prem Chopra, Ronit Roy, Neeraj Kabi and Vineet Singh and is said to be based on an Indian Mafia family.
