Three years after the superhit controversial Mammootty flick 'Kasaba', director Nithin Renji Panicker has kick-started his new movie titled 'Kaaval'. This time the director is teaming up with yet another Mollywood superstar Suresh Gopi. Shoot for the film commenced recently and the makers have been keeping the audience posted by sharing a few location stills. The lead star looks dashing in his full-on action hero avatar. Check out the stills here -‘Kaaval’ is touted to be an action thriller-cum-family drama. Starring Suresh Gopi, the movie will also have actor Renji Panicker essaying one of its pivotal roles. Both Suresh Gopi and Renji Panicker will be appearing in two getups in the film – an older and younger look. ‘Irupathiyonnam Noottandu’ actor Zaya David has also roped in for the project. Others in the supporting cast include Alencier Ley Lopez, IM Vijayan, Sujith Shankar, Kichu Tellus, Binu Pappu, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Muthumani, and Pathamaraj Ratheesh.

National award winner Nikhil S Praveen is wielding the camera. Ranjin Raj of ‘Joseph’ fame is the music director. Joby George of Goodwill Entertainments is bankrolling the project, which is expected to release later this year.
