The story of the first seven minutes of 'Kaasi' (to be released on May 18), titled 'Sneak Peek', is now out in the open.

We now know the premise of the emotional drama. Dr. Bharath (Vijay Antony) plays an accomplished surgeon in the US. Work is worship for him. A doctor with a humane face, he believes in the power of compassion.

The only blip in his self-contained life is this: Night after night, he sees a mysterious dream in which a serpent lurks in the dry fields.

While this perennial dream baffles him, his parents tell him that they are not his biological mom and dad.

This revelation becomes an inflection point. Dr. Bharath now flies to India to find out if his past (or past life). Just like that. What consequences will it lead to?

Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, it also features Anjali, Sunainaa, Nasser, Shilpa, Amritha, Yogi Babu, RK Suresh, Vela Ramamurthy, and Jayaprakash are part of the cast. Vijay has teamed up once again with Bhasya Sree to write the Telugu version. Bhasya Sree has previously penned 'Bicchagadu', 'Saithan' and 'Bethaludu' for the actor. Music is by the hero himself.
