'Kaari Kaari' Song pulls your heart strings: 'Pink'

  • IndiaGlitz, [Wednesday,August 24 2016]

The makers of the movie 'Pink' have released another song from the movie titled "Kaari Kaari". Unlike their peppy track "Jeeney De Mujhe" this number is a slow and soulful number that is sure to tug at your heartstrings.

"Kaari Kaari" has been penned by renowned poet of Hindi and Urdu literature and National Award winning lyricist and writer Tanveer Ghazi. Lending voice to this touching song is the very talented Pakistani music sensation Quratulain Balouch who is making her Bollywood debut with this song.

"Kaari Kaari" is a song filled with darkness and despair that depicts the tumultuous events that overshadow the three girls' lives in the movie. The hard hitting lyrics like "Titliyon ke pankhon par rakh diye gaye patthar, Ae khuda tu ghum hai kahaan" represents the helplessness of the women bound by the shackles of the judgmental society and their search for hope. What adds to the impact of the song is the soul stirring music that moves us to the core!

Rashmi Sharma Films Presents Shoojit Sircar's 'Pink', a Rising Sun Films production. Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and produced by Rashmi Sharma and Ronnie Lahiri, 'Pink' releases on September 16th 2016 and stars Amitabh Bachchan along with Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang and Angad Bedi.
