Suriya's 'Kaappaan' new release date officially announced

Suriya's mega mutistarrer 'Kaappaan' costarring Mohan Lal, Arya, Sayyeshaa and Poorna was slated for release on August 30th according to trade reports. There was a buzz that a postponement is on the cards and now it has been officially confirmed.

Lyca Productions have announced that 'Kaappaan' and its Telugu version 'Bandabost' will be hitting the screens worldwide in a record number of theaters on September 20th. K.V. Anand known for his fast-paced action entertainers is directing while Harris Jayaraj scores the music and M.S. Prabhu is handling the camera.
