The audio launch of Suriya's upcoming multistarrer 'Kaappaan' happened in Chennai on Sunday evening amidst much fanfare with Superstar Rajinikanth, Shankar and Vairamuthu in attendance as chief guests. Speaking at the occasion Rajini stated that another face of Suriya came to be known by all a few days earlier and that he too is of the same opinion as his industry colleague.

Rajini was referring to Suriya's speech a few days back criticizing the proposed new educational policy of the state and the central governments and later asserted that he spoke because of his immense experience of helping out underprivileged students under his Agaram Foundation trust.

Rajini in his speech also shared that Mohan Lal is the most natural actor in India and that he loved the acting of Suriya in 'Pitha Magan' and Karthi in 'Paruthi Veeran.'

'Kaappaan' audio launch was a star-studded affair with stars of the film Mohan Lal, Arya and Sayyeshaa along with Karthi, Harris Jayaraj and K.V. Anand speaking and wishing the team all success.
