Kaali Venkat's father passed away

Popular comedy and character actor Kaali Venkat's father Thavasi Pandiyan aged 79 years passed away at their residence in Arumbakkam, Chennai on Sunday morning around 10 am. Many colleagues and friends of the actor attended the last rites of Thavasi Pandiyan on Monday (8/7/2019).

Kaali Venkat who has impressed in a variety of roles in 'Pizza', 'Mundasupatti', 'Thegidi', 'Irudhi Suttru', 'Raja Manthiri' and 'Mersal' among others is currently playing an important role in an untitled movie produced by C.V. Kumar starring Kalaiyarasan and Ashna Javeri.
